The driver can provide the required power for the LED replacement lamp of 100 W A19 incandescent bulb. It is a non isolated, high efficiency (93%) and high power factor (PF) led driver. The driver can fit into the A19 bulb exactly. It not only meets the en61000-3-2 C (d) standard, but also easily meets the thd limit requirements. The power factor (PF) value exceeds 0.95, so it is suitable for both commercial and consumer applications.
According to estimates, China's lighting power consumption accounts for about 12% of the total social power consumption. If all the incandescent lamps in use are replaced with energy-saving lamps or LED lights, the annual power saving can be 48 billion kwh, equivalent to 48 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions reduction. It can be seen that the market potential of LED lighting is huge. The national development and Reform Commission issued the roadmap of China's phase out of incandescent lamps, which indirectly promoted the development of LED lighting market.

The der-322 driver can be put into the A19 bulb exactly, which not only meets the en61000-3-2 C (d) standard, but also easily meets the thd limit. Due to the integration of PFC and CC conversion in the same switch level, the number of components in the design is very small, which helps to realize the miniaturization of the drive, reduce its cost and enhance reliability. The applicability of der-322 is also outstanding. Therefore, it has a strong attraction for both high-end LED lighting designers and low-cost designers who are committed to optimizing the retail category. The reference design can be modified to support SCR dimming.
Of course, objectively speaking, there are still many technical problems to be solved for high-power LED at present. In addition to the LED driving part that Pi gives priority to, other related manufacturers need to work together to produce final products, such as heat dissipation, high-power LED particles, etc.
Andrew Smith pointed out: "as long as there is a clear market demand, the corresponding manufacturers will increase investment in specific technologies. I think the high-power LED terminal products that can replace 100W incandescent lamps by the end of 2012 are expected to appear.
